Tryout Process

Prior to the the season, we conduct closed tryouts using outside unbiased baseball evaluators.  By registering for tryouts, there is NO guarantee of being placed on team. Placement on teams will be determined by the tryout evaluations. The tryout fee is non-refundable.

Any player who does not make a traveling team will have the opportunity to be transferred to the RAAA In-House Baseball program but they must complete the registration process for the In-House program.  In this case, the tryout fee would be transferred and applied to that registration fee, offsetting the cost.

If space is available, the opportunity exists to play on a traveling baseball team with another association.

Tryout & Registration Fees

$80 nonrefundable tryout fee covers facilities, outside evaluators, equipment and supplies, and other miscellaneous costs specifically relating to the tryout and evaluation process. This fee has nothing to do with the regular season or whether a player is selected or not selected for a team.  DUE: Prior to tryouts

Approximately $400 season fee for players selected for a traveling team. This covers participation in league games & tournaments, umpires, equipment, field usage, field maintenance/improvements, association administrator and support.  Some teams may decide as a group to play in additional tournaments; those team members would be responsible for those added costs. DUE: After team placement

Eligibility & Team Formations

Players, grades 3-9 play with their school grade unless they reach the next age group before May 1st of the season.  The exception are 2nd graders who play at the 9AA level.

The number of teams formed is based on number of participants trying out and field availability.
